Thesis Uploaded

_NOTE: The audio distorts now that the video has been compressed. I need to reduce audio levels before exporting to FLV and re-upload this file._

Here it is.

Of course, I have all kinds of picky things to mention, stuff that I just didn't do that was in my storyboard, and details that couldn't be finished because of time constraints. All of that aside, this is the cut that was shown publicly.

RE: Academy scream

I finally received a reply letter from Blizzard about the source of the "academy scream." All I'll say is it is disappointing.

I've transcribed the letter here in my Google Notebook - URL: http://www.google.com/notebook/public/14273609695858509113/BDQe8IgoQlvSp2pki?hl=en -.

Cox again: "I love this moment so much more, I'll cheat on that other moment from before and marry this one and raise a family of tiny little moments"

Panoramio

I've been seeing Panoramio - URL: http://www.panoramio.com - icons in Google Earth - URL: http://earth.google.com - for a while now, but I finally decided to setup an account and see how easy it is to map my photos. Well, let me just say that it is fantastically easy! Panoramio's site is fast and simple with a tag system for organizing photos, and the user account creation requires you to fill only three fields of personal data. It's fun!

DiscoLitez 2

*Changes*
-
- Make small parallel-to-dual-rj45 adapter to use on back of PC
- Change controller ports to use dual rj45 ports
- Having the rj45 jacks rather than making a cable will allow for any length of cable that is available as ethernet

*Controller*
-
- New enclosure, smaller enclosure
- LED indicators
- Test buttons on controller (OR)
- Stand-alone controls with MOM-OFF-ON switch per channel
- Black-out switch
- Strobe/all-on switch

*Controller (alternate)*
-
- Relays in single gang box with MAINS
- Controller would just be stand-alone box with switches, LEDs, and ports

*Gang Boxes*
-
- Rewire fat cables
- Better locking connectors

Academy scream

I've started a Wikipedia article for the "Academy scream" a.k.a. the scream used when Howie Long's character is kicked from the box car in _Broken Arrow_. Everybody's heard this scream, but it doesn't have a solid name like the Wilhelm. Solidify this article by contributing!

*http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_scream - URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_scream -*

Click here - URL: http://pquijal.com/media/audio/misc/howie.mp3 - to listen to the scream as it sounds in _Broken Arrow_.

_*Update:*
This article will probably be deleted because it is original research and lacks references. At any rate, I've sent an e-mail to Blizzard Entertainment in search of the origin of the "Academy scream."_

_*Update - 2/16/07:*
More updates are in the comments._
